From one culture to another
My interest in translation began while studying classical Chinese in university. Although I currently do more than just translate, I never lost that initial fascination with the puzzle-like process of cultural and linguistic adaptation.
Experience
After moving to France, I worked for several years as an in-house translator for the French software company Auralog. My responsibilities included translating marketing and localization documentation, writing and translating content for their corporate website, and managing the U.S. English team. During this time I was trained to use TRADOS.
