River Cruises: (Y128 for 90 minute tour, Y100 for 40- or 60-minute tour) The cruises have considerably shortened in the past few years; it’s debatable whether or not this is worth it. Book the shorter tour if you can. They leave a short walk away from the Meteorological Signal Tower.

The Thing (p144, Shopping/French Concession) has moved to Changle Rd.
Excursions
The ticket office for Putuoshan ferries has moved down the street to 21 East Jinling Rd.
Most sightseeing buses to the canal towns now only leave once per day. However, you can get to Zhujiajiao quite easily (and without joining a tour group) via the Pu’an Bus Station (普安汽车站; tickets Y12, buses hourly till 9pm), which is just south of People’s Sq. Closest metro stop: Dashijie
